Jane Land is co-director of Balance Massage Ltd.
She has a BSc (1994) and a Diploma of Body Therapies (2000) and is a remedial massage therapist with Massage New Zealand. (RMT MNZ)
Her interests lie in assisting people with sport maintenance massage, specific myofascial pain and trigger points, and general wellness massage.
She believes the beauty of massage lies within being able to treat specific issues and relax the body at the same time. She also utilises dry needling to achieve results.
Jane also is experienced in event massage, with three years at Ironman, Vodafone Xair and three years contracted specifically to the Australasian PGA Golf Tour, NZ Open.
Jane has a keen interest in golf and currently plays to a 14 handicap.
Jane is available Monday to Friday

Lisa Buchan is co-director of Balance Massage Ltd.
Lisa has a Diploma in Body Therapies (1998) and a Post Graduate Certificate in Health Science (Sports Medicine) (2005), and is a Remedial Massage Therapist with Massage New Zealand.

Lisa is a strong believer in using regular massage to relieve stress, prevent sports injuries and to achieve optimal levels of wellbeing.
Her main interest lies in chronic and acute pain management, sports and general maintenance massage, and sports and repetitive strain injury by using a variety of techniques including swedish, trigger point release, dry needling, myofascial cupping, mobilisation and stretching.
Lisa has had extensive experience with sports teams and events, and was a team support provider for the NZ Academy of Sport North Island for 8 years. Lisa has travelled to Japan with the NZ Cross Country team in 2006, Hawaii for the 2008 Ironman Champs, was exclusive massage therapist to America True, Americas Cup Syndicate 1999/2000, and has worked with many individual athletes from elite to recreational.
Lisa has a passion for many sports and is currently a competitive Ballroom dancer.

Sue Pannetier
Sue has a Diploma in Therapeuticand Sports Massage as well as Diplomas in Reflexology (2002) and Craniosacral Therapy (2000), and is currently completing a Degree in Health Science.
There is nothing more rewarding than being able to use soft tissue therapy help people so that they can fulfill their everyday activities without pain or are able to run, swim or cycle that extra mile.
I’m motivated by a whole body approach to treating the cause of muscle tension and pain, to help relieve soft tissue imbalances and prevent injury. An additional interest includes assisting women with hormonal issues such as PMT, fertility, pregnancy and menopause using reflexology.
Sue is available Monday to Friday, and alternate Saturdays.

Lisa has Bachelor of Health Studies (Massage & NMT) (2008), of which she graduated top of the class,
also a Diploma in Therapeutic and Sports Massage (2007) and a Certificate in Relaxation Massage (2006).
Lisa also teaches the Interest Courses (introduction to massage) and assists in the Certificate Program part time at the New Zealand College of Massage.
“Working together, each session is tailor made to suit your individual requirements. Using specialised forms of massage therapy and incorporating many different techniques I encourage your body to rebalance itself while providing education so that you may manage your own health in order to experience long lasting beneficial changes.”
Lisa is available Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Mikki Williden
I have a passion for food and love helping people make food choices that are not only practical and tasty, but also meet their nutritional goals. My physical activity background, both in my tertiary studies and my sporting endeavours enable me to help individuals make healthier lifestyle choices for weight management. In addition, this experience allows me to work with athletes to optimise their training and performance goals through sound sports nutrition principles that fit into their lifestyles.
I have completed both a Masters degree in Human Nutrition and a Physical Education degree from the University of Otago. I am a lecturer in Nutrition at AUT University and am completing my PhD in public health, looking specifically at corporate health. I am a member of the New Zealand Nutrition Society and Sport Science New Zealand.
Mikki is available Mondays from 3pm & Thursdays from 7am to 10am.
