Stress-less this Silly Season!
Can you believe it is upon us again? The silly season can be a trying time for some but it needn’t be; if you plan ahead. Because as you know it is all about Balance!
Priority 1: Book my massages ahead of time!
Take care of your body and your sanity by booking ahead of time, that way you know you won’t miss out, you’ll have your de-stress time already organised which means you can cope with any Christmas hurdles!
Priority 2: Purchase all my gift vouchers before 1st December!
Purchasing massage vouchers for your staff, your family, and for your friends for Christmas means you save on petrol costs, time and energy (all in one place), save on packaging and gift wrapping, and save on money before our tiny price rise on the 1st December! Whew, all that saving in one place!
Priority 3: Other important stuff
Plan to exercise, keep it in the diary or on the fridge to keep you motivated. 30 minutes a day is what the experts recommend. Keep this up over the silly season and you’ll manage your weight and your sanity!
Eat healthy snacks instead of sugar and fat loaded snacks. Nuts and dried fruit, fresh fruit, plain popcorn.
Watch the alcohol consumption. Try alternating one alcoholic drink and one non-alcoholic (water, soda, juice) at functions and have the odd night off it entirely!
Keep hydrated. Take that drink bottle with you wherever you go, and consume at least 1.5 litres a day. If exercising; a little more.
Plan for time-out. Make sure you have time to yourself away from the hustle and bustle. Relax, meditate, read, breathe.
Say no! Don’t over commit yourself with functions, organising other peoples stuff.
Get enough sleep. Power nap if you have to. 20 to 30 minute power nap can make all the difference for this busy time of year.
Have a laugh! Nothing de-stresses better than a good laugh.
